Domaine Martin Frere et Sœur
Domaine Martin Frere et Soeur is a family-run estate now led by Claudia and Frédéric Martin, who continue their father’s commitment to crafting authentic, terroir-driven Chablis.
Since reviving estate bottling in 2018, the family has strengthened its focus on sustainable farming and the expression of its vineyards.
The estate farms 35 acres of Kimmeridgian soils in the villages of Chablis, Courgis, and Préhy. Vineyard practices emphasize soil health and sustainability.
Premier Cru parcels are harvested by hand, and wines are fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Selected Premier Cru wines see partial aging in French oak, with no more than 20% new barrels used. Wines are bottled unfiltered to preserve their purity and character.
