Domaine Jerome Litré Froment
After years spent in the music world, as a musician and founder of a recording studio, it was during a trip to Argentina that Jerome decided to make wine. He studied winemaking, worked in different wineries in France and Argentina where he also make wine, under the name of Dualismo.
Jerome created his first winery during the Covid in 2020, in the Cher region near Sancerre.
Then in 2023 he bought a winery with 2,50 ha of Chenin Blanc in Vouvray. He also continue the
production of his negoce wines, where he buys grapes from friends in different regions.
Jerome continues to learn every day, and this natural curiosity also seems necessary to him to improve himself and making the best wines as he can.
For him wine is an art just like music. An art that is shared, in joy, passion and simplicity. As in any art, he believes more in the expression of a person than in belonging to a current.
His convictions are naturally towards organic and the idea of making wines without inputs or as little as possible.
Jérôme works with native yeast, naturally present on the grapes, low intervention during the winemaking process and no sulfites added during winemaking. Only microdosing of sulfites during the bottling.
Jérôme trust in long ageing, at least 15/24 months in different containing’s such as barrels, amphora, stainless steel tanks.
With old chenin blanc vineyard (80 years old), Jérôme released his first Vouvray at the end of 2024.
